Full Job Description

As a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.• This position may require travel to project / client locations

Preferred Qualifications

At least 11 years of experience in SAP Basis including Architecture experience

• SAP certification for OS/DB migration

• Ability to create SAP infrastructure bill of material for on-prem, Azure and /or AWS deployments based on the architecture requirements.

• Experience on SAP NetWeaver, all recent releases and S/4HANA conversion expertise • Experience on Databases: HANA, Oracle, MSSQL, SAP DB/MaxDB, DB2, Sybase,

• Good understanding of the underlying infrastructure stack: Hypervisor, OS (UNIX, Windows), Storage, Network

• Software related HA/DR approaches and tools (Database replication, Oracle RAC, MSSQL always-on, SAP ERS)

• Infrastructure based HA/DR approaches and tools (cluster, storage replication, Site Recovery Manager)

• Hands on Experience with Solution Manager

• Proven experience in delivering Automations

• Downtime minimized migration approaches

• Tuning and optimization of migration processes

• Expertise in Version/EhP upgrades

• Expertise in Capacity Planning

• Expertise in SAP on AWS and Azure cloud

• Experience on RedWood&uPerform

• Conceptual knowledge of Network routing

• SAP related archiving platforms (e.g. OpenText/IXOS, IBM common store) and WORM storage solutions (e.g. EMC Centera, iTernity ICAS)

• Monitoring platforms for SAP (e.g. Avantra/XANDRIA, Nagios, Icinga, SolarWinds)

• Good analytical and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written communications

• Experience in Process Industries, Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Industry a plus

• Team leadership experience a must

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills the job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
